Now that the fencing is complete, I was ready to get everything out of the mini greenhouse. However, a cold front is moving through, and overnight temps will be in the low 40's. So, waiting for things to warm up again in 5 days.
Some growth progress:

I find its good to protect tomatoes even in low 40's.

corn is something we've dabbled with and decided it's not worth the effort. You only get a couple ears per plant and we just don't have the room to dedicate to it. Unless we do 1 plot in nothing but corn.

but there's plenty of folks around here that do grow corn so we've decided to just get it from them.

We have really good local corn that hits the farm stand around August, and very inexpensive. Pretty much everything I'm growing is mostly for "the fun of it". To gain experience.

It's getting very warm here, and looking like overnight temps will stay above 50°F from this point on. So, I finally disassembled the mini greenhouse. Laid down 2 layers of weed barrier on the ground, inside my 10'x10' fenced-in garden.
Next project will be to set up drip irrigation on a timer, and trellis planning.

Decided to use artificial turf for the garden floor. For $50, I like the esthetics much more than the black weed barrier.
The adjustable trellis system, from Amazon, came last night, so today I put it together for the sun sugar tomato plant, the better boy tomato plant, and the cuke and green beans.
After mowing the lawn, today, I'd filled three 15gal grow bags to transplant a few jalapeño seedlings Ive been growing and to soon direct sow onions, watermelon, and cantaloupe.
