Hello,

I recently bought a young starfruit plant about a week ago. However, since bringing it home it has started to drop leaves. I have other starfruit plants that are doing very well. It is just this one that isn't. I live in a warm temperate/subtropical climate. These plants are rare in my country, so I want to prevent it from dying. Any help/advice will be appreciated.

It looks like bad transplant shock or sunburn. Did you move the plant from indirect light to direct sunlight.

I have seen leaves wilt before but I have never seen branches wilt and droop from the trunk like in the picture. The bottom portion of the tree seems to be fine. Are you sure the tree wasn’t injured when you brought it home?

Yeah, it's pretty strange. I wonder if the clip has damaged it somehow... the clips were there when I bought them.
