Will this guy bother my raspberry (or any other) plant(s)?

The only thing this guy will do is bother other insects. You are lucky to have them around. Here in Texas we call them Devil's Horse but their real name is Preying Mantis.

We don't have them, but I thought 'Praying mantis', because of the way the front legs are held.
