White Spots on Date Plams

Growing these from seed, what caused these?


Scales? Normal? If so best way to solve? (neem or something else homemade?)

You have bugs on your plant. It looks like mealybugs but I can't be sure. You need to blast the plant with jet spray of water and knock them all off the plant. Cover the soil so it don't get wet and use the water hose and blast them off with water. You can use some alcohol on a rag and wipe them off too if you don't want to use water.

Local garden guy also says to use neem oil to treat em going forward.
