Which pollinators have you seen in your garden today?

I was locking the gate at a monthly job at 630pm yesterday and a wasp kept harassing me. Not even sure where he came from since its almost all asphalt where I was. I didnt swat at it or anything but it stung me under my left arm.

My arm is swollen now and I started feeling funny so here I sit in the ER waiting on the Dr to see me.

Ive had the reaction take 3 days before and was told by the nurse it wasnt from the sting because it was 3 days later as the Dr walked in with the shot and said it was from the sting.

Another similar incident a few years ago i was stung in the leg mowing the grass.

Im getting a funny taste in my mouth now.

Sounds like you may be a candidate for an epi pen, now.

The wasps have been real aggressive lately. Not just to me but in general. I wonder if its a seasonal thing. Other people have been commenting about them too.

Prevention is cheaper and whole lot less painful...we haven't had a wasp sting in years here since we have been using these around the house and outbuilding entrances.

Yes, research and my own experience definitely supports that.

"Wasps, especially yellowjackets and hornets, often become more active and aggressive in the fall"

Pollinators don't bother these?

For the most part no they don't. However, carpenter bees have been reported to occasionally fall for the trap. i hang them exclusively around human entrances and I can't recall ever seeing any carpenter bees in one, not to mention other pollinators.

Very effective for me...and way better for those who are sensitive to wasps' stings that happen by.

Yeah VA doesnt cover any of it. They probably dont get it discounted like everything else.

I have bought prednisone and other meds online from India. I can get a lot of prednisone for that much money.

I wouldnt go through this if I stay on a low dose prednisone like I keep telling my Dr who cant seem to figure out why blood pressure is all over the place. Im allergic to everything like mice poo and pet dander to grass and trees. Mold almost knocks me out.

I have cortisol issues too. I woukd get adrenaline rushes sitting still at home. Im forced to self medicate.
