Which grass?

I have tried different grasses for my small lawn. They either deteriorate during the dry season or are overtaken by other grassy weeds during wet season and uniformity of growth is compromised. I have heard that some grasses do better than others. Which grass is suited for a lawn? Or is it a function of good husbandry?

there is a wide variety of lawn grass, and there is always one more suited to an area, a zone, sun versus shade and climate. For this group to answer you would be magic land. best you do some local research.
