Johnson's Jumping Spider (Phidippus johnsoni), also known as the Red-backed Jumping Spider, is a Jumping Spider (Salticidae) native to western and central North America, from southwestern Canada to northern Mexico. The individual shown in the OP is a juvenile instar female, as evidenced by the white spots and black central patch on its abdomen.
