Whats going on with the poor little orchid?

A week or so ago I noticed a small leaf on this orchid was yellowing. Now it is completely yellow and a second one has started the yellow I don’t think it is root rot. There are no damaged roots. Besides these two leaves the rest of the plant seems perfectly fine. I water once a week and the plant is not in direct sunlight. Any suggestions to what may be happening?

Do Orchids shed older leaves?
Im just starting trying my hand at Orchids.
I brought one my wife bought from near death to finally showing new growth.

Hey! I know this is late, but my orchid did the same thing within the first month of me buying it. Eventually the leaf in question just fell off. All the other leaves continue to look healthy and green though! I’m not a plant expert, but I wouldn’t worry about that unless the other leaves start having issues too.
