Guys, something is growing in my raised bed. From first glance it seems to be some kind of fungus or mushroom. I’ve already tried burning them using a blowtorch but they just keep growing back (doesn’t help it’s raining season in my country). Just what are these? Will these kill my plants? Will these poison or compete with my potatoes or are these totally harmless? Thanks

Here are other pics. They seem to be growing on the sides. I thought marine plywood is totally water resistant and is immune to things like fungal growth. First time to actually garden. Are these things dangerous to both plants and humans or are these totally safe? Comments?

Welcome to the forums :)

Doesn't look like a fungus to me, might be the glue that holds the plywood together expanding in the heat.

Does it feel sticky or organic? If it's a fungus then it should smell.

Either way it probably isn't a threat to your plants, most fungi that live in soil are only interested in breaking down dead matter :)
