Wondering if anyone can shed still my light onto what’s happening to my bell peppers. This is my first year gardening vegetables and we have had an incredible yield from all of our plants so far, however over the past few weeks I’ve noticed the bell pepper plants having issues.

The plants themselves seem to be thriving and have tons of new growth, but the peppers quickly are developing what looks like rot, or some sort of infestation before they’re able to grow to a harvestable size.

These pictures show the overall plants which (I feel) look fairly healthy, and then what the peppers start doing and how it ends up. Please help!

You have what is called blossom end rot. It is an imbalance of calcium or the failure of the plant to uptake calcium. The peppers are still edible, just cut away the bad parts. In my soil this is an easy fix. Just add 2 or 3 handfuls of Epsom salts around the base of the plants out to the drip line, but your soil might be different.
