This might be Sunset Muskmallow or Aibika (Abelmoschus manihot), an introduced species native to parts of Asia, Australia, Malesia, Philippines, New Guinea, and other Islands. It is sometimes cultivated for its edible leaves, which are also highly variable in shape, making identification challenging when flowers and fruit are absent.
