We've got tonnes of these bushes growing in our forested backyard in the Cariboo Valley, British Columbia. Can anyone identify them? Are they edible? Thanks in advance!

Identifying berries in British Columbia would need a proper guide/encyclopaedia in my opinion as there are so many of them. Taking a guess or anyone's opinion on a forum or otherwise could be folly  If I lived there I'd get a good book to follow, as I believe foraging would be well productive. Fascinating study to take on (y)
