Buy some runners from your local garden centre, and plant them in pots that are at least 12" high, and probs the same dia.
Make sure there are plenty of drainage holes in the bottom.
Fill your pots with compost, and plant your runner so that the crown is just above the surface.
Keep just moist, and give a little tomato feed in May, and a little slow release general purpose fertiliser in Feb.
Cut off any runners as they'll take goodness away from the "fruit".
After three years, pot up enough runners to replace your plants as they don't crop so well after that. (There's plenty of time to learn that)
