I noticed this on the top of my Sago Palm last month. Anyone know what's going on?

It is blooming. You have a female sago. A cone shaped "flower" is a male plant.

Thanks Chuck. I assume the flower will fall off like any other flowering plant, and the Palm will continue to grow?
