What fruits grow best in Ohio area??

I'd love to plant a few fruit trees along with our veggies this spring. But I have never even considered it before now so I have no idea where to start?! Which will grow best for us? Which varieties like apples will be the most kid friendly to grow? Help!!

I live between Cleveland and Columbus, and apple trees really seem to thrive in this area, (Johnny Appleseed anyone?), some without any care whatsoever. My parents have a few pear trees with their apple trees, as well. Also, this summer, I came across a mulberry tree that seemed to be doing really well.

I live in Ohio. Apple, pear, peach, cherry...just to name a few. I have had really good luck with all of these. I have one of each. They're pretty easy and almost mindless to maintain.
