Built a plant shelf for all of my random plants and seedlings. Many of these were dug out of my garden redesign area. I didn't have a place for them in the new design but also didn't want to get rid of them, so they'll stay here for now. Otherwise I have a lot of seedlings, cuttings, and young plants I'm trying to get going. Really happy with the design. It has space for sun-loving plants, shade-loving plants, taller plants, etc.

Just like spinach...or collard greens. I load mine down with vinegar.

Added two more native species today! Turtlehead will probably be going in my pond's bog filter. Obedient plant is going in the wild, weedy edge of my large burning pit where it can fight some of the non-native weeds. It's an aggressive plant so ideally it will spread all around that area in the next couple years.

Well we had rain then it got warm and I’m not to get too hot with my medication.

So I repotted some Nasturtiums to put on our Deck and that was it.

I do think my Okra is coming up.

Well ask my neighbor. She called my wife at work and told her I was working in the garden.

Got a problem with Flea Beetles so I had 8 Nasturtiums so I planted them.

Repotted some Geraniums.

Did so much more but it didn’t involve garden

Harvested the first corn of 2026 today...it is not fully ripe yet, but the crows are after it and I'm eager to try some...

Thanks. Those are Heatmaster. I started them from seed in early January. They are the best fruit setting tomato for hot climates that I have found.

Picked the last broad beans. I grew them in buckets on plastic bags I had put down over a patch that got very weedy when my shoulder was dislocated. Took up the bags, bare earth, dug it over. Watered in the greenhouses, but lots of rain, so I didn't have to outside, planted out a couple of 'Tigerella' tomatoes in the greenhouse and did a bit of hoeing and weeding, but it was still raining on and off all day, I don't work in the rain if I can help it.
