Planted Amish Peas in companion with seed potatoes planted previously. The potatoes are just now breaking the soil surface as can be seen below.

Unfortunately, I ran out of the Amish pea seed about halfway down the row and it is too late to order more.

Looking forward to cream peas and new potatoes in May 🤠

I'm changing to a more aggressive strategy on tomatoes this year. The recent several years have been trending much hotter here shortening the window for fruit set in spring and ending production in early July.

This year I'm trying to widen that window by a couple of weeks by planting out early. Started today. There is certainly risk of frost, but the risk of hot weather is much greater in my estimation.

Hence, my strategy is to grow out two "strings" of seedlings. A first string, the primary and a second string, a backup. First string going in the ground.

If I lose these, replacements are ready to take their place.

Trimmed my boxwoods because there was a lot of damage from winter. A lot of brown tips and then I found this. Guess I have a project for tomorrow.

Im guessing its powdery mildew.

You could well be right about the mulch @dirty hands, that will hold the dampness to create it. Does the mulch have the mildew too?
Yes. I found a couple patches of it in different areas.
I had some fungus spray i used on that boxwood and the boxwoods around it. Im going to keep an eye on it for now. I see some other boxwoods that look dark brown in some areas too.

You could try clearing the mulch away from the base of the plants, giving them about a 1ft clearance all round.

I see some other boxwoods that look dark brown in some areas too.

That's a little worrying, it could be the start of Box blight. Many gardeners here in Britain have been losing plants in recent years.
