I cut off a big limb on one of my Hollywood junipers that was dying. I took a big peice of that limb off last year also..
Pruned a branch that was rubbing too.
Im eager for the snow to melt.

Watched blessed rain all day.

Been watching b***** rain for what seems like weeks, can't go near the quagmire/garden.

Got a bunch of compostable paper cups and gradually potting on tomato seedlings, going to fill the windowsill soon. Be good to get them out to the greenhouse, but it could still turn too cold for them.

It was bright and sunny, but bloody cold, with a fair wind from the NE, and the ground is still sodden, so stayed potting up tomatoes in the greenhouse. I have quite a few, but I only save the very best, the rest are still good, they go to friends, relatives and neighbors.

Started prepping a couple of my native gardens for a burn. Removed some old chicken wire from when the garden was used for pumpkins. Took out the stakes I have around the border, and moved some solar lights away. Now I just have to wait for a day when the conditions are right.

Burns can be tricky...sometimes even in good conditions. I'm always on edge when I use them, but it is a great tool.

I've never had any issues, but my garden spaces are small so they're easy enough to do. I like backburning the whole thing so the fire stays slow and controlled all the way across.

Planted Onions. Sprouting some Cabbage Seed.

Got Seed Potatoes. We took 4 Legged Kids with us. Guy helped take the Potatoes out. He was putting them in the car. My Pomeranian was all over him for being in his car.
