Just about anything you wish should grow in Sutton, nice, warm Surrey, but I would start with my Spring bulbs, Darwinian Tulips, the fancy ones need renewing, and then daffodils and various narcissi, so they come up early between things which will flower later. I googled 'Flowering perennials UK' to see what came up, there are some nice, reasonably priced collections, and a lot of individual suggestions, but really it is down to what you like. For example the missus likes salvias, I prefer geraniums, another approach is to visit a few gardens, Wisley is not too far, but I am sure there are others in your area.
No transport. Want bushes flat flower through the year. Can't put picture of garden on here either:(

Abelia is a very pretty shrub thats smells awsome and many varieties of abelia can be grown successfully in the UK.

I do sometimes use the wheelbarrow with three watering cans, But I am looking to up my step count, the doctor assessed my fitness level purely on that, which is a bit stupid, but I have a GIST, which could mean an operation, and I need to convince them I am fit enough for it if they consider that route. Did 11.6k yesterday.
I had to look up GIST but good luck with that!

Watered the Main Garden today.

Started working on self watering pots for my Special Plants.

Got some people to pick up plants tomorrow. I told my wife this works take pictures of the plants put them on Internet. People come it is to buy plants.

I'm going to do some talking and see if I can sell more.

Rain, rain and more much needed rain, then I went out and dug a hole in a nicely cultivated bit. It was damp for the first two or three inches, dusty dry by four inches down, it's a long time since it rained, still more forecast tomorrow evening/night.
I planted my autumn potatoes in a place where I had piled up clay against the concrete paving stones around the edge, then taken away the stones. There was a hole about three or four inches here it came out, and the end potato in each row was tiny. I jammed the hole full of rotting grass cuttings and watered and the end potatoes doubled in size.

Watered everything.

Deer and Armadillos are hanging around so I sprayed with Peppermint Oil and put down some Repel All.

Armadillos got a Cabbage plant.

Sold a few plants.

Told my son I got 5 plants off that Umbrella Tree. His friend I got the tree off of didn't believe me and had to look.

He is off his Meds he hits me or my wife he is out of here. He is very violent.

Spent the day outside added some soil to the 3 flowering plumbs i planted yesterday. layed down down landscape fabric over mulch to kill weeds and staked it down in 3 different areas.
Dug up a juniper that was dying under a black walnut and transplanted it.
Ran out of daylight so had some rum and cokes.
