It's quite mild today, 13c. but damp. If the rain holds off, I'll collect leaves in the front garden this afternoon.
If it stays dry for a couple of days, I'll get into all the leaves around the roots of our "bamboo forest" at the bottom of the garden. The only way to tackle this as the canes grow so close together is to try to blow them out with my garden vac. But they'll go everywhere making more work.

As I had to get the Sunday joint out of one of our back-up freezers in the room in the back of the garage, (it was formally the "filter room" for the koi pool) .I checked on the acer palmatum Taylor and the lilac which will be wintering in there. The lilac, had lots of nice buds on it, as did the acer, although these are so tiny at the moment, they are hard to see.

There's quite a bit of stuff in here I want kept out of the damp as far as possible, it includes our garden furniture, the two hedgehog houses which were unoccupied and a spare set of golf clubs, two golf bags and a "pull" golf trolley, in case my leccy one has to be repaired at any time.

The windows behind are in the garage back wall, which serves as the back wall of the shed. So some light comes through there.
It also gets quite a bit of light, through the skylight in the false ceiling and the clear corrugated section of the garage roof above it.

Nothing, went to see older daughter and family, and younger one came over as her husband was off with mates to watch Crystal Palace play. We had a really nice day.

After feeding four familys largely from our garden on Thanksgiving, today I replenished our stores by harvesting more broccoli, turnips, cabbage, potatoes, and a few tomatoes.

I was taking soil out of Raised Beds when son came out. Dad seen your Dog but not you. What you doing? Getting these Beds ready to move back into the Greenhouse.

Dad we have to go but we will move them into the Greenhouse when we get back.

Had Barrel of water brought the PH down.

HMM sure would be nice to have them Raised Beds in the Greenhouse. Took close look. Ah heck I can get this. So moved them into the Greenhouse, filled them and planted Onions, Lettuce, Radishes and Beets.

Moved a pot with Oregano and one with Spearmint out to the Greenhouse because they were not happy in the house.

Not garden but got 3 Eggs after Molt.

Wife put some in Pickling Lime water, they kept but yolks all was weak. Bought Eggs one time my definition and theirs of a Large Egg is waaay different.

It looks like the weather will prevent much work in the garden over the whole week-end, although fortunately I'm pretty much up to date with everything.

I was planning to get into this Amber clematis and jasmine, on the fence next to the kitchen window.

I let the clematis rather run riot over the summer and I'd already taken clumps of it off in October. Now that "the dog can see the rabbit," I intend to prune it back so I can train it to go where I want in the spring,

Although it's quite cold, it's dry. I fed the birds, then got into this
Amber clematis and jasmine. The latter never stops growing through the summer, it'd be several feet above the height of the fence if I didn't prune it.

There were a lot of fallen leaves, in the bed of cyclamen, I had to get out.

There were a lot of fallen thin branches under next door's silver birches, that I'd pruned off last week and the wind brought down.

Watered everything then fertilized the plants with Yeast mix. It has been used for thousands of years so I figured why not.

Filled my Water Barrel up so the Chlorine will disapate and warm up.

Made some more bedding for my Worms.

Got couple more Heat Pads in.
