I have been hassling with these little pests for a years. I usually go around smashing them, or if they get out of control hit the plants with a strong spray of water. I'm wondering what they are and if there is a way to mitigate their existence around my garden. I grow almost everything in barrels and 20-gallon containers. I amend the soil with peat and manure. I grow the plants myself from seeds. These buggers (punn intended ) have gotten worse over the years. Thoughts?
