Hi there,

I noticed ants climbing up to the leafs of my plant which had these little green insects. Do you know what these are? Are they a pest and should I be worried?

Thanks,
Jessica

The green insects are Aphids (Aphididae, Homoptera). The ants (Formicidae, Hymenoptera) are protecting the Aphids from predators and and harvesting the honeydew that they excrete. Hose off the Aphids as much as possible and also spray with insecticidal soap.
