What are these bumps on the leaf?

It is my first fig plant and I am concerned about these bumps on the leaf. Only one leaf has it. Any idea if I should cut it off? Is it diseased?

Leave it alone. It may be insect galls, and if so you cannot really get to them except with a systemic insecticide which ruins the fruit for consumption. The leaf will eventually be replaced and you will not have lost the photosynthesis in the meantime.
