I think what to do is a matter of experience and knowledge. When to do it is mostly a matter of common sense and understanding your weather. What to do is easy.....just ask. When to do it is a local matter best addressed by local gardeners.I seem to struggle with knowing "what" to do and "when" to do it. Is this a problem others have?
