Yay, that's what I thought! If it grows into a squash, do you think we can eat it? :unsure: Do squash usually grow in fall?
I think it is too late in the year to get a squash. First, the plant has to grow female flowers to even have a chance and then it has to have proper pollination. By the time this happens most of the pollinators will be in hibernation and even if by some chance the female flower is pollinated it will be in the dead of winter before any squash is ripe. You will have a killing frost long before all this happens.
