Thank you Esther. I love a stroll around your garden. So many questions. I don't know where to start. What I do know is that I must work on my attempts at my planting around tree trunks. My idea behind the idea was that there would be no need to tidy up with the whipper snipper after mowing so it would look neat and lush. Mmmmmmm, i need to work on the lush after seeing yours.;) What is the foliage you have planted there looking so lovely? I used what I had been given as cuttings, 2 plants that were meant to take over so the mowing around would keep it from spreading. Ajuga which looks OK at the moment but really a bit spartan. It looks pretty good in other parts of my garden. Maybe competing with tree roots...i dont know.

Beautiful

We've not really had any snow here yet, we tend to get it around February (if at all).

If you collect all the views from the window of your kitchen at a different time of year, you can make a wonderful calendar.
Yes, have thought about that, have all 4 of them, already done.
Hit two of the summer accidently. but there is all 4 --the winter way above in the other one. I have already framed up the spring which is enlarged. it hangs on a wall.
