Cloudy and cold with a chance of showers and a moderate breeze from the south west temp 11c feels like 10c, not much change for the day.

It looks like one of those days where garden work will be stop start between showers. Seed sowing is on the menu, but just bean, cucumber and courgette which will all stay indoors. They don't amount to too many and can stay in pots in non-draining trays on the windowsill. It's only about 3-4 standard trays and these fit the sills no bother and can be moved (if I bother my bum to) from front to back of the house to follow the sun/light.

Breeze is not so gentle here and the occasional hail I don't like!

Up to 39F now. Below freezing earlier. Windy and cloudy but no rain. A lot of flooding from the last couple days though.

The heavy snowfall promised overnight didn't happen and the sun has thawed what we had. Today has been a mixture of sunshine and snow showers. 7C/45F

Hopefully this will be the last of the snow for this year and it usually falls around this time, the first or second week in April. Here it's known as 'lamb snow' as it always falls as the first of the lambs are born. Not a good welcome into the world for them.
