Wanting to plant apple trees that will get really big!

What variety apple tree will get the tallest, sweetest apple. and most disease resistant.....if there is such a tree.
Also how many do i need to plant together, do i need a different variety tree to be planted with them?

Big apples huh - look up Wolf River apple.

Tree size depends on root stock and pruning of the tree.

Yes you will need different named varieties for fruit set. Flowering crab apple may be a good choice for pollinator.
