Very windy and wet today

It is crazy all over. In our area it is cold, wet and icy with more on the way.

We will are appreciate nice sunny warm dry days when spring get here.

Well this storms been going on for 24 hours now, can't get into town as most of the roads are flooded, the Army are evacuating a couple of local villages, Portland has been cut off from the mainland and the railway has been washed out at Dawlish.

This sort of sums it up.

We got almost 14 inches of snow here in Upstate New York. The winter is wild all over the globe this year. Seriously, I hope the flooding stops in your country, Zigs. Snow melts. Most of the time, it's not a big deal. But floods can cause serious damage. I've seen it happen over here.

My new apartment overlooks a canal with ducks and this morning there was a spooky fog over the water. I wish I'd taken a photo but I was still groggy and out of it.
Too bad, because it looked like the beginning of a ghost movie.

I can picture you asking a little old Lady about the Ducks tomorrow, and her saying "We haven't had any Ducks on the Canal since before the war."

The ducks and geese stayed at the pond all winter this year and it's the coldest winter I can remember. We've had lots of snow, ice, and wind. It's been awesome but they got tons more snow farther north.
