Unknown plant

Hi guys
Happy new year to all. I was wondering if anybody can identify this plant that popped up in my garden. The first pic is a newly sprouted plant that i removed and the second pic is the same species that is about 2 months old. Would apreciate any feedback......thanks.

Some kind of lily, daylilly seems likely

Not a Daylily. The seeds are black and sort of triangular and the roots don't produce a bulb like that. However, I don't know what it actually is.

Thanks for the input. I also dont believe its a lily cause the shell of the seed is quite hard. I guess il have to wait till it grows a bit more to find out. Il keep you updated.

In the first picture the brown, round object is a seed not a root. In your picture the brown, roundish things are roots not seeds.

This looks so strange. Maybe some kind of foliage plant? This looks like philodendron birkin plant. Very similar to it.

Possibly. Or something in the Amaryllis family. They have spherical seeds, where Lilies usually have flattened seeds.
