Type of thorny tree?

I am going to guess it is some form of wild citrus. Have you gotten any blossoms yet? It probably is a form of bitter lemon that is used in grafting or a tree someone grew from a seed.

No blossoms, but I have another that was identified on here as sour orange and it has not blossomed either. My other orange tree (edible fruit) does have blossoms right now. This would make there if it is orange and is the largest for sure.

That leaf/ branch structure doesn’t look like any of my wild citrus. Could it be some fruit that isn’t common in the U.S.? Now I am curious too.

I guess I'll find out eventually. More fruit would be awesome... Or it's just a thorny decoration!

I used to hate thorny trees. I used to have a glorious pyracantha at the back. But I chopped it off as I never like thorns. But after seeing neighbours being burgled and the burglar came from the gap left by a fence which fell down, I was scared. I was burgled too and the back of my garden is wide open. So I went and bought 2 pyracanthas and some osmanthus. We have lost our innocence and thorny tree has its use.

It could be a Pear Tree vette-kid.

Actually, I think one in my front yard is a pear. Fruitless according to my neighbor though.

Hmm, I have read that article a few times now. The tree out front in pretty certain is a Bradley a it's beginning to open up white blooms. The tree in question, around the side, has no blooms at all, although it is greening up nicely. Also note that the bradley in front has no thorns and this other one does.
