I recently acquired another miniature rose; it's called floral carpet. The flowers are even smaller than my red miniatures from last year, and the bush has a spreading habit. It really needs transplanting, but I have no idea where in the garden I want to locate it.
Those are so pretty Claudine. I have not had much luck growing mini roses outside, but in my new place I have a window in the dining room that gets a lot of sunlight. I was thinking of getting a couple of rose plants to put on my dining table. At least the bugs should not get to them their.
ChanellG - could you post a picture of your new rose? I'm sure it looks lovely
Rosyrain - Thank you
As for pests, I grow all my miniature roses indoors and yet spider mites managed to find them
They are absolutely gorgeous Claudine, and I love miniature roses! I took mine outside and planted in the garden. It doesn't look very healthy or growing as much this year. I think we have too much rain, and not enough sun this year yet to get it going. The temperature as of today is only 40 degrees.
