The subject plant was my experimental variety for the spring. Zucchini always gets too large here and strong tasting for us and this one sounded interesting. I promised someone, don't remember who, a review, so here it is.

At first, these plants behaved themselves and produced acceptable quantities of good eating produce...long slender fruit, at first.

They were planted on one side of an 8 ft trellis opposite cucumbers.

As the season progressed and temps went up, the plant became more aggressive. In a matter of weeks it took over everything around it. Toppled the sturdy 8 ft trellis, smothered the cucumbers opposite and then smothered its neighbors of peppers, beans, tomatoes anything within its range which seems limitless. It collapsed the trellis and moved into other rows while I wasn't looking.

Worse, for me, the fruit exploded in size many growing 4-6 ft. I can't say how these taste...ask the cows and maybe they will say.

If you like huge squash (I don't) and appreciate aggressive growth (I don't), then this might be for you...but not for me.

Looks amazing, Wow. Very aggressive to begin with, but hit the jackpot when it comes to soil conditions. Plus the Spring rain.
