We have just moved and have lots of beautiful trees and shrubs in the garden. The garden hasn’t been maintained for a good few years so a lot of them are quite high. We’re going to try and see what comes out over the next year but some of the trees and shrubs are pretty much sticks with flowers right on the top. Trying to identify what this one is to decide whether to leave it or just cut it back. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums @SarahR7 :) It could be one of many plants, and too difficult to guess. If I had to make a decision about this I think I would prune and thin it out and make it the right shape. The only thing is, you might well lose any flowers this year. It will however recover and will flower in the future.
