Tiny spots but can’t see pests. Help!

Hi all,
New to this site and forum but thought it would be the best site to join for advice on house plant related issue.

I have a philodendron laciniatum that has tiny little yellow spots on its leafs, yet I can’t see any pest. I’m wondering if the spots are the results of a pest infestation or something else such as a bacterial or fertiliser issue.
The attached pictures show the plant as it naturally is and then pictures of the plant under a light to highlight the spots. Similar spots have started to appear on my Alocasia Stingray too.
I’ve treated it with neem oil for 4 days in a row now and the number of spots seem to be increasing.
Any answers or advice would be highly appreciated.

It’s just slightly possible you have a bacterial leafspot infection. Try using Listerine 50/50 with water as a leaf wipe.

These are the undersides. The Frydek is getting worse quicker for some reason

I think there could be a chance that these plants have been watered and then had a dose of direct sunshine through the window. They love to be in a bright place, but direct sunshine can burn especially if there are water droplets on the leaves.
This in turn could make the environment they are in just right to brew up mould or rust problems.
I think it would be a good idea to make sure you always water the plants at the very base, leaving the leaves dry, also make sure they are not in direct sunlight - if that isn`t possible where you have them a fine curtain can be helpful.
If you can pay attention to these points, and wait until the plants produce new leaves you will see if the new growth is normal and healthy. If it is then you have solves the problem.
It is not a good idea to be using all sorts of remedies for plant ailments until you have a positive diagnosis of the problem as that can cause more harm than good.
Misting the leaves is always good - but again, never when there is bright sunshine directly on them. Good luck with them.
