Think I Will Go With This

I was going to do a whole garden Ruth Stout method but my wife said it is just too dangerous for me.

Planted Potatoes and thought they were going to make. Pulled some vines got 5 gallon bucket full. Maybe I better rethink this.

Went out there and just raked the Straw back got another 5 gallon bucket full and left about that much. Put a Tarp over them and going to put Straw. Supposed to keep them good until I’m ready.

I only planted 10 pounds so they did pretty good. Their Pontiac Red.

Going to keep doing this with Potatoes and thinking of doing it with Garlic.

In your other thread titled, "Vermiculite". I was going to ask you why you need vermiculite if you're doing the Ruth Stout method. I guess I got my answer.

I planted potatoes Ruth Stout method and straw bale method. Straw bales Have done well. Haven't harvested Ruth Stouts yet but it's looking good so far.
