Sunflower ‘Japanese Silver-Leaf’ (close-up above and full-plant view below) (from my garden, Sep. 5, 2013). The longest blooming of all annual Sunflowers and probably the heaviest bloom. The plant grows to 5’ x 5 and has unusual soft velvety silver-green foliage, intense branching habit & elegant 4” blooms and beautifully displays for several months. It can produce a show stopping 30-50 flowers in a simultaneously bloom.

They are gorgeous sunflowers!
I planted some sunflower seeds earlier on in the season, and it grew just perfectly until the lawn guy cut it down thinking it was weed! I was so mad :(

It's beautiful! Sunflowers are absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, I don't have enough space to grow them:(
