That really is very pretty. I have just the spot for it...my red and yellow garden. I'm wanting to spread out in front of my wintersweet and that would define the edge as well, I'm envisaging.(y) This garden designing really is a never ending story, isn't it?:):LOL:

They're really lovely!:) There are small yellow flowers in my parents' garden that look very much alike, but their leaves are round.

Now I see why they call them sundrops! They are absolutely gorgeous, it looks like a really of a really nice yellow tone, did anyone retouch this picture a bit or do they actually look so bright and colorful in real? Nice job.

Picture not enhanced. Th flowers are very bright yellow.

I have seen Sundrops in the past. They are indeed a very brilliant yellow.

The Sundrops (Oenothera) shown in the OP is indeed making a beautiful display. The plant pictured might be a form of Oenothera fruticosa or O. pilosella, both native to the eastern and central United States, but this is not certain as there are other similar species and possible hybrids.
