Not easy to say, if it is in a hanging basket it might be a particular one. There a a lot of different cultivars nowadays, there are different strawberries all over the world and until recently those grown were mostly an accidental cross between a North and South American variety that turned up in the 1600's, but more recently people have been producing all sorts of crosses to grow them in different ways. There are some hanging basket ones that will produce nearly all year on long hanging strings, on the other hand it might be an ordinary old fashioned one, in which case it wants a lot more earth.
