It apparently is a big subject and an American has started it. If you google, you can see quite a few threads on the subject

And then there are people who are worried that the herbicides used in the hay and straw .. Interesting, some people market straw as a mulch as an organic means ... a lot of read about...

There is not a specific subforum for it, no. There have been various threads about it. Go to the search box in the upper right corner of the page, and use the Search feature. Try it as both "straw bale," and "strawbale, " you'll have more results. ;)
