Stella cherry tree

Hi all, I have a Stella cherry tree which is around 5 years old. It's healthy, flowers well and produces a good amount of fruit. However, the fruit reaches an unripe stage, pale in colour, which never ripens into fruit to eat. It simply falls at the unripe stage. It's in a good position for sun and well established for water requirements. Any advice please?
