Spots on snake plant

Hi everyone!

I’ve had this snake plant for about a month now and I’ve noticed some of the leaves have brown spots and are turning wavy. I water it once every 2 weeks and it is in a moderately shady spot.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

They often get these. I'm not sure the cause of the little spots to be perfectly honest, but mine has them too.

The leaves will also turn / curl towards the direction of the sun... so they won't ever remain straight like when you purchased it from the store. That's where the name Snake Plant comes from... it's twisting, winding nature. It's very rare to find a Snake Plant with perfectly straight leaves.
