Having some trouble with Spanish Moss - we have it in the bathroom and it's been ok for a few months, but is increasingly looking grey and unhealthy. It's not in direct sunlit, and it's probably the most moist area in the house (someone normally has a bath most days - could the steam be too hot)? We put it in water for 30 minutes each week, with orchid food, and make sure that it drips dry. It seems like it might be under watered, but at the same time there are some black bits that are possible over watered? Any help much appreciated!

Welcome @ta56636 What kind of light does it receive? It needs lots of bright indirect light.

Also, outside it gets a lot of air circulation...we have it all over the trees here naturally. I wonder if that could be a factor.

Thanks for your comments! I'm really not sure - there's a window, but a small one - here's some photos if it helps...

Give it more light. It will grow in full direct sun and a tiny window 3’ away just won’t cut it. Right in the window or in a bigger, brighter window would be much, much better.

Thanks for the advice - I can understand the 'more light' element, but everything I've read seems to suggest that it's much better in indirect rather than direct sunlight?

Indirect sun works great here since we actually have some. You have indirect sun in the middle of your garden and shade anywhere in your house.😂
Put it in the brightest window you have.

I think it's a good idea to give it more sun as cpp says. We have it here in Florida and the sun down here is so much stronger than your location, especially since it's in the house. I bet it could take full sun outside in your location.
