We have a massive Mango Tree int the corner of our back yard. We finially kicked a scale infestation in our Orchid House, which has over 100 Orchids, but the entire tree is badly affected. Can we stop the scale using Shadecloth to fully enclose the orchid house? It has gaps for airflow, and is using %50 shadecloth. Please, is there anything at all that can be done for the tree? We ar in South East Queensland, in the Wide Bay region, right on the coast. We will continue to spray the Orchids for scale every 2 weeks. The beautiful Speciosum that is in the tree is also quite severely affected. There is also a very large Elkhorn Fern hanging off the tree.
