Sora - Tillandsia Bromeliad

My favorite plant to photograph is my air plant, which is a Tillandsia Bromeliad. Since we do daily photo shoots, I have even taken the liberty of naming her Sora, which means Sky in Japanese. Air plants are a very new addition to my garden and I enjoy snapping pictures of Sora and creating unique images that chronicle her growth and development. In the past, I have had trouble editing pictures of my plants but the floating glass globe that my air plant sits in makes it much easier to manipulate images. In addition, sharing my photos has given me the chance to educate others about this wonderful plant. I have had avid gardeners ask me about my plant as well as beginners who just want something they can grow easily. Here is one of my most recent images of Sora.

Sora is a beautiful name, I love it I name my favorite plants too. They're like pets to me.

Hi there Sora! That is such a lovely painting!!!! The art on your wall!! I am also a big fan of Japanese culture and art in general! Actually a couple days ago I was talking with my fiance about that! We found a really nice ranchu and koi art we'd like to try on our wall. Anyway, just wanted to welcome you to the forum!
