Good morning! I planted "snow in summer" (Cerastium) on 3/19. I played some in 2 different beds. (Both beds already had a few from last year but I added more this year). It seems that less than less 2 weeks time they have taken a turn for the worse. It could possibly be overwatering (my husband told me he has watered them in addition to what I would normally do) but I can't be sure. Can they be saved since it's still early in the season? (The ones in the 2nd bed are still white and blooming, but just not as much)

**If there is someone that has direct experience with these, I can upload a few more up close pics if needed.

Thanks in advance! (I am in a little distress because I have thought about this all white border since last season and was hoping to plant something there that I wouldn't have to keep planting year after year. If this doesn't work, I'm at my wit's end regarding what to do)

It looks more like candytuft than snow-in-summer. Cerastium would have gray fuzzy leaves not shiny green ones. Regardless, the flowers are done but the plants are fine.
What is your location? They should be watered 2 to 3 times a week depending on weather.

I always stick my finger in the ground and feel the soil dryness, before I water anything. I check the soil everytime I water indoor or outdoors plants period . Your plants will rebound nicely if you manage your watering properly.
