slow release nitrogen

i'am going to put some shredded leaves on the garden this fall. it is aprox.100x25 and I was wondering how much slow release nitrogen to put on? tks

I'd put about 1 lb per 100 sq ft or 25 lbs. I would also spray it down good with molasses. The more leaves the better.
