Should This Work For Garlic?

I put Garlic in my other Raised Beds which are open underneath and my Garlic froze.

Thinking of putting it in my Tall Solid Raised Beds.

Will it freeze? If I should have a problem I’m going to just put it in the ground.

I really like my Garlic.

When did you plant your garlic? I over winter my cloves in the ground using a mixture of hard neck and soft neck bulbs.

The soil in off ground beds mimics outdoor temps. I'm not surprised they all froze.

I plant mine in raised beds in early November and usually get 100% sprouts. I mulch heavy with leaves for the winter.

I plant mine in the same raised bed every year in October. Cover heavy with chopped leaves and never have a freeze problem.
