It looks like 100 F at least until next Wednesday with no rain.

Right now everything is looking dead and I’ve been watering.

Got some seed and Transplants I’m thinking just wait.

Depend a bit what the seed is, I might be tempted to plant some in containers to plant out when (if :() the weather changes. Seed is usually pretty cheap, so it's worth taking chances sometimes.

Oliver has a good suggestion but depending on germination days it may be a week or 2 before you need to worry about sprouts and it may be cooler then..

One thing I like to do is look for when the forecast suggests there will be rain for like 2 days. I'll try to plant before that.

...

But if the temperature is close to 100 degrees that's rough... It could be difficult for things to make it on that high of temperatures. But I'm in a different climate than you. How is your humidity? Humidity plays a big role in the success of young plants taking off.

Sometimes the urge within us says we need to plant...at least it works that way for me. The weather may be wrong and it is, the sunlight too much and it is, but the urge to plant sometimes overcomes.

Yesterday I planned a seed packet of Beets and they will probably never make it, but just had to plant something.
