Sheet metal raised beds

Hi all
I have some roofing and siding sheet metal left over from my pole barn buuld. It is painted on both sides probably powder coated. Can I use this for a raised bed?

I don't see why not. It is not toxic in any way as far as plants or humans are concerned.

I'd say you should be good. It may be worth looking into adding another coat of some sort of durable paint, especially on the edges where you cut. It could end up adding a good amount of life to them for not that much extra work.

Only trouble I see with that is that the siding is quite thin and will need additional support.

I possess additional bedsheet from my pole barn building that I used for the roofing and siding. It is presumably powder coated and colored on the both sides. Is this suitable for a flower bed?

I cannot think of any possible harm it could cause.

@Cadmandu - attached are some ideas of sheet metal(ish) garden beds I've made in the past.

These use the 30 ga corrugated roof panels and 2x stock for framing.
